Worth the wait?

Not sure this was worth the wait and price. I tend to not read a series till it's all released, but jumped on this early. I think it was over price for the amount of pages. Felt like an excuse to make another book. That said, I found the story enjoyable and the sex was pretty hot. I think Cane becoming mister nice guy mid book was totally unrealistic...but I guess that could be said about the book in general.

I loved this book, I could not put it down. Even when the book was done i was ready for the next one to come out. You really feel for Pearl with all that she has been through. You can see him falling more for her in this book and opening up. Usually I get bored after first book but not with this series.

I completely understand that the Barsetti brothers don't understand love, but I wish Cane used a different wording or something! I mean, Geez! I am so angry at Crow because he describes how he feels and it's love. And he even admits that's he is terrified of his feelings, but come on. Seriously?! I have a emended pride toward Pearl. She keeps taking hits and when she falls she stands right back up. She is a strong woman and I love what she is learning! I am excited for May to be here and get the final book! This is amazing journey that Crow and Pearl are on and the author tells their story beautifully!

Loved this series

Great book within in the vein of the 50 Shades of Gray series. There have been so many copies since the erotica-romance genre erupted 5-6 years ago, but this series nails it for the intended audience. The characters bleed emotion and make you root for them and their "love" and attraction are undeniable. Nothing in the book will shock you, but it did leave me wanting more. Definitely worth the read and commitment to the 3 book series.
